Meet the Team

	Penny Spencer - Owner of Shire Travel Penny Spencer is Managing Director of Spencer Travel Group. She started her career almost 30 years ago and has in this time worked mainly in Corporate travel building a very strong brand and an award winning company. Penny is the owner of Shire Travel and loves to work closely with the team on marketing, staff training and retention and most importantly client service and retention. Penny is very active in the Travel Industry and has a high profile by being a successful businesswoman, a member of many committees and boards and also the Founder of a Travel Industry specific Mentor programme. She spends her time between business’s and has a passion for everything travel.
	Lisa Allan - Manager Shire Travel Lisa has been in the travel industry for almost 20 years, during this time she has specialised in all facets of travel. Lisa has a 6 and 4 year old. She has travelled the world extensively before children and now with children. Her favourite holiday with her children was taking the whole family cruising down the Mexican Riviera and the next big family holiday will be on Luxury Safari in South Africa.
	Angela Clarke - Travel Specialist Shire Travel Angela has over 15 years experience within the travel industry, she has worked in wholesale, corporate, groups and leisure travel, with her latest focus being Travel with Kidz. During that time she has travelled extensively with her family to Thailand, Bali, Fiji, New Zealand and sailing in Tonga and the Whitsunday's. "My favourite trip with the kids was a campervan around New Zealand when they were 6 and 9 years old. Lots to see and do, plenty of freedom, good value for money and safe" Angela loves to create special itineraries and enjoys cruising - she is looking forward to booking your next dream holiday.
	Dayna Porter - Travel Specialist Shire Travel Dayna has wanted to come into the Travel Industry ever since she was young. She has just finished a Travel Course and is looking forward to learning all about the industry now having been given the opportunity by Shire Travel. She has travelled regularly and can't wait to share some of her experiences.
	Lisa Maddox - Travel Specialist Shire Travel With more than 23 years experience in the industry, Lisa recently joined Shire Travel. She has worked in corporate and leisure travel and specialises in luxury travel. She has travelled extensively throughout the world and her favourite destinations include Africa, New York, Egypt, Turkey, Aspen skiing and Paris – too many to choose from! Lisa is married with 10 and 12 year old children. She recently spent time sailing the Whitsundays with her family which she loved. Her dream holiday is white water rafting the Colorado River with the family….with a stop in Hawaii on the way home!
	Margaret Hudspeth - Travel Specialist Shire Travel I love Vietnam and Thailand they are such exotic destinations with exciting vibrant cities, world heritage towns great people offering cultural experiences, it is an inexpensive destination allowing me to stay in 5 star hotels , experiencing wonderful restaurants, great shopping and historic sites.
	Sue Stuart - Travel Specialist Shire Travel I have worked in the Travel Industry since 1980, starting as a receptionist in a corporate office. Then moving through to Domestic and then international travel. I have travelled extensively with a driving holiday in the UK being a favourite and also a love of Hawaii! Getting married in March 2012 with a Vanuatu Honeymoon to follow!
